Who is Elena Lioubimova?
Elena A. Lioubimova is a well-known museum curator and researcher.
After studying at the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia, (1979) where she was awarded a M.A. in Art History with an emphasis on European Art 16th-18th century ,she completed her studies at UMASS, Amherst and at The College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Virginia, where she received a M.A. In Museum Studies & American Studies in 1998.
A highly qualified professional, she proposed, developed and implemented "The World of 1607", a major international exhibit and associated catalogue to coincide with the Commonwealth's 400th anniversary. "The World of 1607," a special exhibition at Jamestown Settlement from April 2007 to April 2008, put the founding of Jamestown in a global context and focused on worldwide cultural developments during the late 16th and early 17th centuries.

She participated in the developing of the loan and exchange of large-scale international exhibitions; was actively involved in the museum projects such as attribution, systematization, cataloguing of the Decorative Arts collection, weekly museum fine and
